Emerging in the late 1800s due to the streetcar routes, Old Charlotte is where Charlotte’s first true suburbs existed. With a population of only 7,300 and the homes near Pineville having once been simply a mill village, now it is “the ‘biggest’ small town around.”  Some of the finest medical facilities in the Southeast are close to this quaint neighborhood in Charlotte, NC.
