Queen’s Feast Week in Charlotte, North Carolina Included Elizabeth Neighborhood Restaurants

Elizabeth has changed extensively since the turn of the century. Becoming a part of Charlotte, NC in 1907, Elizabeth had the first public park in Charlotte, Independence Park, which opened about the same time. Looking at the market here, homes in Elizabeth are from 1,000 – 4,000 square feet with prices range from the low $200s up to $850,000.

Participating in Queen’s Feast week from Jan. 22-31, some restaurants in the Elizabeth neighborhood were included among more than 80 of Charlotte’s best restaurants. This was a great opportunity to experience some of Charlotte, NC neighborhoods and experience these popular favorites dining places to new hot spots. In Elizabeth, Carpe Diem has the wonderfully prepared seared scallops with almond brie risotto and at the CustomShop next door one can try the delicious N.C. fried flounder. Restaurants offered a spectacular 3-course, prix fixe dinner menu for only $30 per person. Check out all the restaurants at the Queen’s Feast website.
